For the parents of my students . . .

If you are reading this, then your son/daughter must have brought home the informational paper and permission slip I sent home. Please make sure they return these to me ASAP. I will give them 5 points for responsibility.

Feel free to peruse this site and the other blogs listed on the left. The iSkills blog is for 6th grade students and the other blogs are for 7th grade enrichment students. The only up-to-date blog for the enrichment students is the debate blog because that is what we are doing this semester. The other blogs contain last year's class information and discussions so feel free to view them to get a feeling about blogging. Check the iSkills or debate site to see what we are doing this week.

Take time to watch the videos I post. The video on this page was created by my 7th grade advisory class last year and is extremely powerful. On the iSkills page there will be a different video each week for the next few weeks, encouraging safe and responsible Internet use.

I would love to hear your comments. Simply click on the "comment" button below this posting. We encourage our students to never post anonymously but rather use their first name and last initial. This enables me to know who is blogging and give them a grade for their work. You, as adults, as welcome to use your last name. You will not be graded!
